AF Cargo, AF DGI and FedEx have received the renewal of their Airport Equipment Operator Safety Competence (AEOSC) certification, an essential label for the safety and training of airport ramp equipment operators.
Created under the aegis of the Fédération Nationale de l’Aviation et de ses Métiers (FNAM) and piloted by CSAE, CSCE certification attests to a rigorous training programme covering a wide range of vehicles used on runways: aircraft handling equipment, lifting platforms, push-back equipment and high-speed transporters. It guarantees that the agents trained have mastered the regulatory and technical requirements, thereby enhancing the safety of ground operations.
This recognition is a key step for AF Cargo, AF DGI and FedEx, who have thus renewed their membership of the circle of certified companies. Congratulations to them for their commitment to safety and operational excellence!
At the end of the CSAE General Meeting on 20 March, Pascal de Izaguirre, President of the FNAM, Didier Montégut, President of the CSAE, and Claude Deorestis, President of the CSCE Committee, officially presented the certifications to each representative of the award-winning companies.
At a time when the safety and efficiency of ground operations are more of a priority than ever, CSCE certification enables employers to provide a better framework for authorising drivers to operate specific types of equipment and to ensure mutual recognition of skills between employers. An undeniable asset for the entire ground handling sector.
