As a source of inspiration, sharing experiences and testifying to the wealth of professions and career paths in ground handling, we wanted to give a voice to the players in our sector.

Today, let’s hear from Michel Ragot, former CEO of Aviapartner and now Honorary Chairman of CSAE, lecturer at the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC) and airport trainer.

It’s a rich background that he’s now putting to good use to pass on his knowledge.

Early career

My career at Paris Airport has enabled me to acquire knowledge in a wide range of areas, from operations to management, particularly in ground handling services.

My general management experience

As Managing Director of Aviapartner France, I was able to apply my economic and social knowledge to the stopovers at France’s provincial airports.

A second career

When I retired, I decided to continue my activities by passing on my knowledge to students and airport staff undergoing further training.

Training and preparing the next generation

By training masters and engineering students, I am preparing future executives for management positions in airport, ground handling and airline operations.

The quote that inspires me

When it comes to the future, it’s not a question of predicting it, but of making it possible.

– Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
