CSAE held its annual General Meeting on 20 March.
For the 22 members present, it was an opportunity to renew the current management team and confirm the actions already underway, between controlled financial management and strengthening the sector.
Renewed governance
Didier Montégut was unanimously re-elected Chairman for a 2-year term.
He will be accompanied by 3 vice-presidents:
- 1st Vice-Chairman: Franck ROMAND
- 2nd Vice-Chairman: Stephan DENNER
- 3rd vice-president : Isabelle VARIN
He will also be supported by an unchanged Management Committee comprising the following members:
- Air France Groundhandling
- City One
- Servair
- Transdev
- GPA
- Pacific Airport
Sound finances and controlled management
With a positive balance and a stable cash position, CSAE confirms its sound and controlled financial management. The 2024 membership fees have been paid in full, and in a unanimous show of support, a gesture of solidarity has been made to members in Mayotte and New Caledonia.
Clear priorities for 2025
Priority actions :
- Decarbonisation: stepping up the actions already underway, particularly with regard to monitoring indicators
- Safety: stepping up audits and extending prevention initiatives
- PAXi: further quantification of the phenomenon and study of applicable penalties
- Working conditions, in particular by improving the career path of airport staff
- Communication: positioning ground handling as the essential link between airports and airlines
A strong message from the FNAM
Pascal de Izaguirre, President of the FNAM, closed the session by stressing the need for concerted action to highlight the economic and social contribution of air transport in the face of regulatory and fiscal pressure.
The next meeting will be the Executive Committee meeting on 24 April 2025, at which the 2025 budget will be voted.
