Meeting on Monday, 8 December 2025, the latest CSCE (Compétences de Sécurité des Conducteurs et utilisateurs d’Engins aéroportuaires) committee marked a key milestone for the scheme, with feedback, sharing of best practices and expansion of the member community.
The discussions began with the presentation of the audit reports for the four companies audited during the last quarter of 2025, providing a consolidated view of the level of compliance, areas for attention and progress made in terms of ground operations safety.
This cycle will continue at the beginning of 2026, with three new companies already registered for the audit programme.
The committee also praised the contribution of the gendarmerie captain, an associate member of the CSCE, whose analysis of accident data at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport sheds light on the causes of accidents and enables targeted preventive measures to be implemented.
Another highlight of the session was the announcement that Tarbes Lourdes Airport had joined the CSCE scheme. By joining the initiative, the airport has committed to five key areas:
- Deployment of the CSCE repository and its developments,
- Provision of reference examiners,
- Active participation in the audit programme,
- Transmission of accident data,
- Involvement in collective actions undertaken by the committee.
These commitments are fully in line with the three founding pillars of the CSCE:
- Enhancing the safety of ground operations personnel,
- Harmonise standards and practices with international benchmarks,
- Facilitate dialogue between employers and clients.
Today, the majority of CSAE members using track equipment are CSCE certified, confirming a collective drive towards safer, more consistent and sustainably harmonised ground operations.
